How to defeat Dr Venom.

No doubt you've probably heard of Dr Venom the villain who us trying to take over the world by making us all unhealthy.

The children have decided that to help Silver Ice (the super hero) and all of her super hero friends we would learn about healthy eating and defeat Dr Venoms evil plan. 

Here's just a sample of what we've been up to this week. 

Problem solving. How many different ways can you make a sandwich using tomato, lettuce, cheese and bread?

Dr Venom and Silver Ice

Using a computer modelling programme design a healthy sandwich from a variety of ingredients and make it.  

Discuss healthy foods, use our fine motor skills and butter bread. Fill our sandwiches following our designs, discuss 2D shapes. Which way will we cut our sandwiches to eat them? What shapes have we created from cutting a square. Enjoy the photographs. 

I think egg, cheese and cucumber was the most unusual combination.
