After our PSE lesson yesterday where we discussed the dangers of bonfire night we wrote safety rules in our language session. 

Writing rules for Bonfire night safety. 

Ask your child what their writing targets are. We work with a star and a wish. A star is something that's good that meets the success criteria and lesson objective and a wish is a target/ way forward. 

As you can see the children's writing has improved greatly in a month. We are working hard on sentence structure with capital letters, fingers spaces, full stops and sounding out spellings for emergent writing.

We also collected twigs for our salt dough hedgehogs that we are going to make in enhanced tasks. 

PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOUR CHILD BRINGS IN THEIR READING DIARY AND BOOK EVERY DAY. WE ARE LISTENING TO CHILDREN READING THEIR BOOKS/HIGH FREQUENCY WORDS REGULARLY AND NEED THEM.
