As it is safer internet day this week, all of our activities will be based around internet safety and how to be a good online citizen. Some of the activities include:
- Exploring positive and negative comments and how to ensure we follow the same behaviour rules both on and offline.
- How to give a compliment and practising to say positive things about each others' work.
- Use emoticons to explore how we would feel in different situations and how to resolve them.
- Wool web - Exploring the different ways we are connected to each other and create a giant class web.
I hope you will be able to join us on Thursday evening, where we will be sharing some of the things we have learned about internet safety.
PE reminder
If your child has a verruca, please can you ensure that they have socks and suitable footwear (trainers/plimsolls) to wear for PE in the hall?
Help needed! Pet visits
As part of our PSE this term, we will be learning about how to care for animals/pets. I am looking for some volunteers who would be willing to bring in a pet to show the class and answer some of their questions about how to look after it. It will only be for 20 minutes or so, and we can arrange a suitable date and time. We will only be able to have small pets such as hamsters, gerbils etc. If you can help, please could you come and see me ASAP?
Also, if you're child does have any pet allergies or you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
