Language, Literacy and Communication
This week we will be looking at our capital letters and full stops ready for our big write postcard at the end of the half term! We will be doing lots of practical activities to consolidate these skills, which will hopefully be lots of fun!
Mathematical Development
We will be practising more subtraction this week and giving change in practical situations. We will also be estimating capacity and using checking strategies to see if we are right.
Other Areas of Learning
We will be continuing with our growth mindset activities, helping us to develop a more positive outlook.
We will also be working on our map skills. Following our walk around Llantrisant last Friday, we will be identifying the features that we found on maps. We will also be recreating our own maps and following them.
Guided Reading
We will not be sending any words home at the moment as we are in the process of assessing the children and preparing them for the 'Big Spell' which we will be starting when we return from half term. We will send more information about this next week.
