Trip
We are all very much looking forward to our trip to Barry Island on Thursday! At the moment the weather is looking good for the trip. Please can you make sure your child wears school uniform suitable for the weather. Please ensure that your child has a packed lunch, sun hat, wearing sun cream and plenty to drink. We still have some money left from our last trip but not quite enough for another treat. Please could you send in an extra £1 for us to top it up and get a small seaside treat. If your child didn't come on the last trip, please could you send in £2 for them?
Big Spell
We have started our big spell this week. The children have done very well but there is one small issue that is popping up and preventing better scores. Children are still getting their b's and d's confused so please could you check for this when they are practising at home and help children to correct them if you spot them, thank you.
Language, Literacy and Communication
We are still focusing on invitations this week. We will be writing another invitation to our beach party on Friday.
Mathematical Development
Continuing to explore time, we will be looking at digital clocks this week and how to read the time on them.
Party
Friday will be my last day in Y Graig and all of the children have been so wonderful and it has been such a pleasure to get to know them and be given the opportunity to teach them. As a goodbye and a way to thank the children for their attitude over the time we will be having a beach themed party on Friday afternoon. Please could children wear beach clothes. We shall send a reminder text on Thursday.
