Our walk to the park

The children really enjoyed their visit to the park on Monday. The became 'park investigators' for the afternoon. We looked at the different structures and features in the park and of course, as part of our research, we had to have a little play too!

Home-School Task

We have been learning about the names and properties of 3D shapes. Go on a 3D shape hunt around your house. Can you find examples of:

1. A cube
2. A cuboid
3. A sphere
4. A cone
5. A cylinder

Take photos or draw them into your learning logs. Can you bring in 1 example of a 3D shape for us to put on our shape table? The children will have the opportunity to explore the shapes, so please don't send in anything valuable or fragile.
