What a fun and busy first half of the autumn term we had! The children worked extremely hard and produced some lovely work that they should be very proud of. We are both very impressed with the children's work ethic and the work that they have done is splendid! Da iawn Y Graig! Keep up the hard work this half term please!
During Health and Well-being Week we had lots of fun visiting different classes to take part in a range of exciting activities. In our class we enjoyed story telling yoga and giving each other rosettes for the wonderfully kind and caring things we do in class.
During 'Shwmae Day' we had a great time making cawl, which we enjoyed the next day. It was delicious! We also learnt the words for the fruit and vegetables we like and don't like, writing about these in giant speech bubbles which you can see on our Welsh display in class.
Making our 3D houses through the ages with junk was lots of fun. Working in our groups we created four different houses, which we wrote posters about during our literacy sessions too. We can't wait for you to come and see them this week!
In our maths enhanced activities we practised our number bonds to ten and also created repeated patterns using autumnal items. We are very proud of the maths we have been doing independently.
In PE we have been busy retelling the story of The Three Little Pigs through dabce. We have had to use our bodies to create the shape of houses as well as using our facial expressions to portray the chracters of the pigs and wolf. We can not wait to put our final pieces together this half term with music.
