Returning To School

Lots of us will be returning to school the week beginning 29th June.  It is optional and a personal decision to make as a family.

For those who are, I have added a well-being worksheet into SUMMER WYTHNOS 8 file on Hwb Class for you to complete together. This will help us to understand how you are feeling and support you with any worries you may have on your return. It will also help us to catch up and find out all about your time spent learning at home.

If you are unable to print the sheet, you could answer the questions on Jit 5 or J2e 5.

Take a look at the sheet below:

We have spoken to many of you over the past few weeks about your child's worries surrounding the Coronavirus and also being apart from family and friends. Mrs Rees has offered to send Social Stories to these parents as a resource to use, which should spark a conversation and hopefully allow you to talk through the worry together.  We feel these are invaluable resources and Mrs Rees has uploaded them to the WYTHNOS 8 file on Hwb Class for everyone to look at.

There are also a wide variety of animations and videos explaining lockdown, social distancing and the virus itself which we believe are great for those who are struggling to understand the unprecedented times we find ourselves in.  There is also one about returning to school after lockdown. We have chosen a few to share with you below and hope that you find them useful.

Don't forget we are all in this together and we are here to support you.

Take care and stay safe.
