Anti-Bullying week
Whilst Anti-Bullying was actually last week, we felt as we had such a busy week with Children in Need activities and school trips, it was better to wait until this week to complete the work on anti-bullying.
We will be talking about what makes a good friend during circle time and how to respect and celebrate our own similarities and differences.
We have been given a mission to complete from our school ambassadors based around a character called 'Sam' and all our language activities will focus upon creating Sam and his story.
Mathematical Development
We will be continuing to practise our new learn-it: 4+2=6, finding one more/less than a number to 20/100 and looking at relationships between numbers i.e. more than... but less than.... and odd and even numbers.
We will be using our 2D shapes to create and continue our own complex patterns and printing these patterns onto paper to make wrapping paper for our 'Santa's workshop' role play area.
Also, we are hoping to start making our rag garlands this week, so any donations would be greatly received.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend..
