Christmas concert week!

The time has come, after weeks of practise and a lot of hard work from the children, we are ready to perform 'Lights, Camel, Action' for you next week. The concerts will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. If you haven't already done so, please can you send in your child's costume by Monday 5th December, as we will be performing for the rest of the school in our dress rehearsal.

The children have written fantastic letters to Santa this week and we will be taking a little walk to the post box to post them next week. We are sending them to the Royal Mail 'letter to Santa' scheme, along with your child's name and address, and once received, they should have their very own letter back from Santa!!  A text has been sent out, but just to confirm, if you do not wish for your child to participate, please can you let me know ASAP?

The arrival of Jacob McJingles

We had our very own elf arrive on Thursday and he is already up to mischief! He arrived in a wrapped present from the North Pole, but we soon discovered a hole in the box where he had escaped! After a bit of elf detective work, we found him hiding in the maths cupboard!! The children then worked with a partner to think of a name for our new elf and Jacob Mcjingles was the winner! I'm sure he will bring lots of fun and mischief over the next 2 weeks.

Maternity Cover

I am pleased to announce that Mrs.Kemp has been appointed to cover my maternity for the remainder of the academic year in Y Graig. Some of you may already know Mrs.Kemp as she covered in this class for a period of time last year. She knows the school very well and is very excited and looking forward to working with the children. Over the next 2 weeks, I will be working together with Mrs.Kemp to ensure a smooth transition for the children. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to come and see me.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
