Saesneg / English
This week, the children will be planning and writing their own Wanted Posters, using the character of the wolf from 'Three Little Pigs'. Last week we looked at the features needed for a successful Wanted Poster and the children will use these to guide them this week.
Take a look at this poster and ask your child to tell you what they will need to put in their poster this week.
Mathemateg/Maths
In Maths this week, we will be continuing our work on Number and looking at Place Value, focusing on tens and units.
We will be using Numicon as a resource to help us. Take a look at the video below if you are unaware of this resource and how it supports the children in many aspects of maths.
Gwyddoniaeth / Science
Our investigation this week is about the three little pig's houses, looking at the three different materials used and finding out which material is the lightest and therefore travels the furthest.
Celf / Art
As a link to our science, the children will be designing and creating their own house for one of the pigs, using either straw, sticks or bricks. the children will need to choose the equipment they will need and will be developing their scissor skills.
We are looking forward to another busy, yet fun week in Dosbarth Y Graig.
