Firstly we would like to thank everyone who came to Parents' Evening this week and for the continued support you have shown us. It was great to speak about your children and discuss their achievements since the beginning of term and set targets for the next half term, which we are sure the children will work hard to complete. For those who did not receive their Hwb login details they will be given out tomorrow, so please look in your child's book bag if you are expecting either a permission letter or log in card.

Raffle tickets will be on sale - the children can bring in money to buy raffle tickets as well. They will be 50p a strip to win a football or rugby ball at the fun run. The sports council will be in the hall at break times Friday selling tickets.
In our literacy sessions this week we will be continuing to write our final poster. This will be an assessed piece of writing for this half term and a chance for us to see what the children can do independently. Once they have finished their posters we will be putting on our editor's glasses and having a go at improving our work. These posters will go alongside our 3D models of the houses through the ages that we are creating in history. Together they will make a 3D timeline.

We are stepping away from number for this last week before half term to explore data. We are going to delve into the world of Pictograms (also known as Pictographs), creating a whole class display and using computers too. Take a look at the video below for an explanation of what a Pictogram looks like and does.
Don't forget our Good Choice Target is to tell an adult something positive about your class mates and not tell tales. I hope we can fill the jar before half term Y Graig and then you get to choose a reward. If the weather holds out, you may even get to use the pay equipment in the junior yard! Fingers crossed!

Another busy week ahead Y Graig but we are sure you will work very hard as you have done over the past 7 weeks. I can not believe it is almost half term. Those weeks have flown by!
Have a lovely Sunday evening everyone and see you bright eyed and busy tailed tomorrow morning.
