We will be using our reading and comprehension skills this week to look at pirate ships in more detail. We will be looking at the different types of pirates ships and then the features these have. Once we have learnt all about them we will have a go at labelling a pirate ship. Arrrrrrggghhh maties, I be sure you'll be great at this!
Mathemateg
In maths this week, we are going to delve into the wonderful world of graphs. We will be collecting information by voting and the creating a graph with our results. We will also be looking at graphs and answering questions about the data they hold.
We will be starting to build our pirate ships this week before we starting testing them in a few weeks time. Please ensure you send any items gathered into school on Monday so that we can see what other materials we need to gather in readiness to start constructing. I can not wait to see the final products and test to see whose holds the most gold coins. Will it be yours shipmate?
Here's to another busy week Y Graig, we have lots of fun things planned.
We will be continuing to focus on hand hygiene in Y Graig and ensure that the pupils will wash their hands at regular times throughout the day, especially once using the toilets and before having snack and dinner.
